PBS will host a FREE advance screening of the first hour of the Season 2 premiere of Victoria at the Wichita Scottish Rite Center on Tuesday evening, January 9, 2018.
The popular PBS series from Masterpiece is based on the young queen of England who wants it all – romance, power, freedom, and an heir. If you haven’t seen it, catch up by watching Season 1 with a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime (affiliate). Alternatively, you can support your local station and become a member of PBS Passport (info below), or subscribe to the PBS Masterpiece channel on Amazon (affiliate).
The event is free, but bring a few shillings for the snack bar and cash bar. (Water $1, Soda $2, Candy $2, Popcorn $2)
Before and after the screening, Victoria fans can take photos with actors from the Wichita Scottish Rite Signature Theater dressed in period costumes or take photos with cutouts of characters from Victoria. Fans are encouraged to dress in costume!
There will be a prize-drawing too!
Doors open for the event at 5 p.m. and the screening begins at 6 p.m. Park in the lot north of the building and enter through the NE doors with the canopy.
