Charlie Mars will perform beginning at 7 p.m. on the plaza outside the Ulrich Museum of Art on the WSU campus. The rain location is Wilner Auditorium.
Here is more information about the artist from the Ulrich Museum’s Facebook event page:
Acclaimed musician and storyteller Charlie Mars will debut songs from Beach Town and tell tales of the real-life Gulf Coast characters that have touched his life – from his late grandfather, to Jimmy Buffet, to local fishing legend Captain Larry. Charlie Mars has collaborated with Nashville greats Jeff Cohen, James T. Slater, Sean McConnell and Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks. Bring your lawn chair, relax in the scenery of the WSU campus, and enjoy this indie/folk/rock concert.
