School’s out and there’s going to be a SNOW DAY in Wichita on February 5!
The City of Wichita Park & Recreation is hosting their free Snow Day at the Mid-America All-Indian Center. Bring a sled (but not a metal one) and enjoy the artificial snow, provided by Snow Bros Snowmakers.
Sunflower Espresso will be selling coffee and hot chocolate. The Slope will be present handing out free mittens, while supplies last.
This event is weather dependent. If the weather warms up, they will bump the date further out, so check the Facebook event page prior to attending just in case there are any changes.
This event is free and open to children, adults who identify as children and anyone else who loves snow! Adult supervision is needed for children under 10.
