To celebrate the official start of the summer solstice season on June 19, 2026, Kroger is giving away 100,000 pints of FREE ice cream. Kroger has done this deal before, and I have always gotten my free ice cream; it’s easy, but you have to act fast.
According to a company release, the offer includes any pint of Kroger-brand ice cream, such as Mint Chocolate Chip, Vivid Vanilla, and Kroger-brand Deluxe Tie Dye Burst.

Visit FreeKrogerIceCream.com to scoop up a free pint of your favorite creamy and delicious Kroger® Brand ice cream using a limited-time, single-use digital coupon, available for download exclusively on June 19 starting at 11 am, while supplies last. The coupon is redeemable at many Kroger Family of Stores locations. So all you have to do is get the coupon and redeem it in-store, for pickup, or for delivery orders. The digital single-use coupon is valid from June 19 – July 3. You can use your ice cream at your 4th of July Celebration!
I checked our Wichita Dillons stores, and they are participating in this deal. However, the offer is NOT valid in the following states: California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota, Nevada, Tennessee, and Virginia. I wanted to share which stores are not participating so you don’t tell your cousin in Missouri and then find out their state isn’t participating.
Pro Tip: Customers who aren’t able to snag this deal can still save $1 on any two pints of Kroger Brand ice cream, redeemable through Friday, July 3.
