IHOP National Pancake Day: Free Pancakes on March 3rd

More butter and syrup, please! Hungry bargain hunters will definitely flip for this fluffy freebie.

In celebration of National Pancake Day, IHOP is offering complimentary pancakes on March 3, 2026, at participating locations. In the past, you had to purchase at least a side to receive 1 FREE short stack of pancakes, but I dont see that on this year’s advertisement. The restaurant has been serving up the freebie for more than 15 years.

Over 1,500 IHOP locations will be flipping a FREE short stack of three (3) buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The offer is valid for dine-in only

IHOP Fun Facts:

  • IHOP serves more than 700 MILLION pancakes per year. That’s about 4 billion 900 million inches or 75,750 miles of pancakes, which could go around the earth about 5 times!
  • Every year, IHOP also serves 214 million eggs, 100 million cups of coffee, 32 million pounds of bacon, sausage, and ham, 14 million gallons of orange juice, and 1.5 million gallons of syrup
  • IHOP was founded in 1958 in Toluca Lake, CA. It was originally named “The International House of Pancakes.”It began expanding through franchises in 1960.
  • In 1973, the company began using the short-form “IHOP” in its ad campaigns.

Limit one short stack per person while supplies last.

As always, the National Pancake Day promotion is good at participating IHOP locations, which may or may not include the one you visit, so be sure to ask before you order.
