Gather your blankets, lawn chairs and family and friends for a fun free outdoor movie night at Exploration Place.
(Note: This event is now called RiverFlix and is in the new Exploration Place Outdoor Amphitheater!)
During the month of May, Exploration Place will be hosting a series of classic films projected on the building’s wall-near the main entrance.
They’ll also have discounted admission to EP exhibits before the movie!

Before the movie starts, there will be fun movie-related activities such as:
- Dressing up as your favorite character from the movie.
- Taking a fun photo-op
- Playing ladder ball, giant Jenga and cornhole games.
- Drawing on the sidewalk with glow-in-the-dark chalk.
- Eating at one of the local food trucks on site.
The movie will start as soon as the sun goes down. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
Arrive early and you can also view the museum’s exhibits at a discounted price from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission to EP during the event for nonmembers 2 and up is only $5 and free for members!
The 2020 Riverflix movie series will include:
- Coco
- Grease
- Guardians of the Galaxy
