El Dorado State Park will host a FREE O.K. Kids Day in October.
It will be held in the El Dorado State Park Range area beginning at 9 a.m.
The event will include outdoor kid friendly games, wildlife programs, archery, trap and black powder shoots, and prizes.
It even includes a free lunch!
The O.K. Kids program is designed to give parents and their children the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities, experience the beauty of the Kansas outdoors, and learn about our natural resources and wildlife.
Each year, approximately 40 sites sign up to host O.K. Kids Day events, including many Kansas State Parks, O.J. Watson Park and the Great Plains Nature Center. The program is organized by Kansas Wildscapes. All of the events are free.
The O.K. Kids Day events are terrific fun. The El Dorado State Park O.K. Kids Day is scheduled for October 2, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
