Sharing is caring!
Looking for something free and educational for the kids to do? The Great Plains Nature Center offers a FREE nature-based craft activity for kids on Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. and noon. As of September 2021, naturalists at Great Plains Nature Center have designed take-home activities to replace their in-person programs. It’s still running in 2022!
The free craft time is especially geared toward elementary and younger children, but it’s open to all ages.
GPNC provides all of the materials for a craft in the lobby. You can pick these materials up and take them home with you.
Naturally Crafty materials are available from 10 a.m. to noon each Tuesday. These are nature crafts that the GPNC educators have prepared for the kiddos. They provide the materials and the kids get to make something to help you remember your trip to the Great Plains Nature Center.
Children do need to be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is not required.
So visit the Great Plains Nature Center on Tuesday mornings and bring home a crafty remembrance of your visit!
Be sure to check the GPNC website before you head out since this is a recurring event and the schedule may change from time to time.
