The Andover YMCA End of Summer Bash is closing out summer with a splash, and your family won’t want to miss it! Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. for their big End of Summer Bash. This event is free to attend for YMCA members. Individual guest passes for $10 can be purchased by non-members (youth and adults) who would like to attend. It’s packed with fun, food, and freebies.
As a Wichita mom with two daughters, I’m always looking for affordable ways to soak up the last days of summer. This event checks every box: no entry fees, waterpark fun, food trucks, games, and music. It’s just a short drive from Wichita, and totally worth it for the memories we’ll make.
And here’s a real perk: the first 200 people through the gate get a free voucher for food trucks—yes, totally free! That includes local favorites like Kona Ice, CheezePanzee, and Tickled Pink. Just a heads-up: the food truck vouchers are limited to 3 per family, so arrive early.
There’ll be a live DJ (T Dub Thee Entertainer), games, prizes, and giveaways to keep the energy up all afternoon. It’s a fun, easy way to wrap up summer without breaking the bank.
