StarwoodsSupporting girls and their families during the summer, Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland is offering a FREE camp opportunity for all girls, grades K-12. Girls do not have to be Girl Scouts in order to participate!

FREE DAY CAMP FOR GIRLS: On Friday, June 9th, The Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland is hosting a free educational “Bee Happy” DAY CAMP from 8am – 4pm. The girls will make new friends, learn, do crafts, and swim. Transportation from Wichita out to Camp Starwoods is provided and so is lunch, both at no cost to families. Girls in grades K-12 are invited and do not have to be a member of Girl Scouts to assist for free.

The free day camp will be on June 9, 2017 at the Girl Scouts Starwoods camping facility. Transportation from Wichita and Derby will be provided at no cost, and lunch is also included.

Girls will be able to make new friends, do crafts, go swimming in a lake (life guards on duty at all times), participate in sport games and water games – among other activities!

The camp is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Space is limited so please call or email and reserve your space. Space is limited, camp form must be filled out in order to reserve space. Form and space reservation obtained by contacting Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland with Community-Based Specialist, Rebeca Serrano 316-684-6531 ext. 1525 . Community-based programs are offered to the community at no cost.
