Here’s a veterans day deal from Starbucks.
On November 11, veterans, active duty military, and military spouses can get a free tall brewed coffee at Starbucks.
Additionally, 25 cents of every brewed coffee purchased that day will go to the military non-profits Team Red, White and Blue and Team Rubicon, whose programs support veterans mental and physical well-being.
And in a press release, Starbucks reaffirmed its commitment to the military community every day:
“…Veterans Day is only one day a year, and we understand the needs of our military community goes beyond one day, which is why Starbucks Military Commitment is a year-round effort.
How Starbucks supports the military community every day:
· We recently reached our commitment to hire 25,000 veterans and military spouses six years early and now we’re aspiring to 5,000 hires annually.
· We’ve dedicated 62 Military Family Stores across the nation to date. These stores are located near major military bases and are designed to hire and honor Veterans, Military Spouses and the military community.
· We offer partner benefits specifically for active duty military and military families, including Military Service Pay which provides up to 80 hours of pay each year when National Guard or Reserve service obligations take them away from their work with the company.
· We are focused on breaking the stigma around mental health through partnerships, advocacy and awareness as part of our new initiative, Mental Health Matters, announced in September at our Leadership Experience.”
So go get your military friends (and spouses) and have a cup on Veterans Day at Starbucks!
