The Wichita Art Museum has a special exhibit right now from the Brooklyn Museum on Georgia O’Keeffe. The regular price for viewing this special exhibition is $20 for adults, but in May the Museum is offering a FREE admission day to Georgia O’Keeffe: Art, Image, Style.
“Georgia O’Keeffe: Art, Image, Style is the first exhibition to explore the art, image, and personal style of one of America’s most iconic artists. O’Keeffe was at the forefront of the American avant-garde nearly from the moment she appeared on the scene in New York in the first decades of the 20th century. Georgia O’Keeffe offers an intimate glimpse at the artist alongside her art with her paintings, photo portraits, and original clothing.” — Wichita Art Museum website
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019, the museum will have NO ADMISSION FEE to view this special exhibit. (That’s the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.)
If you can’t make it on May 25, or if you would rather enjoy the exhibition with less of a crowd, Saturdays are definitely the least expensive days to go.
On Saturdays, admission to the Georgia O’Keeffe exhibition is just $10 for adults and FREE for college/university students with ID and youth up to age 17. Admission to the O’Keeffe exhibition includes general museum admission.
Regular admission prices (Tuesday-Friday and Sunday) are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors (60+), $3 for college/university students with ID and youth ages 5-17, and free for children under 5.
Georgia O’Keeffe: Art, Image, Style will be on display at the Wichita Art Museum until Sunday, June 23, 2019.
