Botanica is hosting different special activities on Wednesdays from April to October. The best part is that the activities are FREE with general admission. Wonder Wednesdays are geared toward children pre-K and under, but all ages are welcome. Once you enter Botanica, the front desk will have more information for each Wonder Wednesday. All of the activities come and go except for storytime.
1st Wednesday of the Month: Get Busy Bee (9:30 am – 12:30 pm)
Discover the amazing world of pollinators with fun, interactive activities all about bees.
2nd Wednesday of the Month: Get Crafty (9:30 am – 12:30 pm)
Create garden-inspired art projects and take home your masterpiece!
3rd Wednesday of the Month: Helping Hands Gardening (9:30 am – 12:30 pm)
Dig in and help care for the garden while learning how plants grow.
4th Wednesday of the Month: Storytime (10 am & 11 am)
Enjoy songs, stories, and playful learning in a cozy garden setting.
5th Wednesday of the Month: Apothecary in the Garden (9:30 am – 12:30 pm)
Explore the magic of herbs and plants through sensory and discovery-based activities.
Pro Tip: Botanica accepts SNAP for $3 Entry.
Also, mark your calendars for Twilight Tunes on the Terrace concert series in the gardens. This is a great event for all ages, and my favorite part is that you can pack your own picnic and eat dinner in the beautiful garden while listening to music.
