Botanica is hosting different special activities on Wednesdays from April to October 2024. The best part is that the activities are FREE with general admission. Wonder Wednesdays are geared toward children pre-K and under, but all ages are welcome. Once you enter Botniaca, the front desk will have more information for each Wonder Wednesday. All of the activities come and go except for storytime.
1st Wednesday of the Month: Busy Bee
Visit the Alexander Bee House for Bee-related special activities from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
2nd Wednesday of the Month: Get Crafty
Botanica will have a garden-themed craft activity from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
3rd Wednesday of the Month: Helping Hands Gardening
Get your hands dirty and help in the gardens. Gloves and tools will be provided from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
4th Wednesday of the Month: Storytime
Botanica offers storytime with music, rhymes, movement, and stories. They will have monthly guest speakers and a FREE book for every attending kid. Visit our master list of Storytimes in Wichita.
5th Wednesday of the Month: Apothecary in the Garden
Discover nature’s wonders through the enchanting world of herbs from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Also, mark your calendars for Twilight Tunes on the Terrace concert series in the gardens. This is a great event for all ages, and my favorite part is that you can pack your own picnic and eat dinner in the beautiful garden while listening to music.
