Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has another awesome Veterans Day deal this year.
The fast-casual restaurant that started right here in (my old neighborhood in) Wichita will give a free combo meal cards to any veteran or active-duty military personnel who visit a Freddy’s restaurant on Veterans Day, November 11.
For years, Freddy’s has done this deal. Freddy’s namesake, Freddy Simon, was a beloved member of the community, a veteran, and a recipient of both a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for valor.
I’m so thankful for his service and for businesses in our community that take the time to recognize the courage and sacrifice of those who serve or have served our country in this way!
The free combo meal card for Veterans Day will be valid from Veterans Day until December 31.
NO purchase is necessary to receive or redeem the card.
Another way Freddy’s shows appreciation for service is by partnering with Folds of Honor to raise funds for scholarships for the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military members and first responders. In May of this year, Freddy’s campaign raised $381,905 dollars in support of the cause.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers now has more than 575 restaurants in 36 states across the United States of America, and seven locations in Wichita (with a new one opening soon in Andover!).
The original Freddy’s location is still operating in my old neighborhood near the intersection of 21st and Tyler in Wichita.
