Sharing is caring!
Take Dad out for a fun afternoon on Fathers Day, June 21, 2015. Botanica will hold a Fathers Day Kite Festival with music, food, activities for the kids, and – if the wind cooperates – lots of kite-flying! Dads get in free; everyone else pays only $5 for admission.
It will be a full afternoon of fun for you and your dad, beginning at 11 a.m. and closing out at 4 p.m. You can bring your own kites or buy one at the festival from my friends Mark and Susan, owners of Wings of the Wind, a local kite and toy shop here in Wichita. The kite-flying area will be in Botanica and in the field in Sim Park, so wear your walking shoes.
Botanica has planned demonstrations by professional kite-flyers, carnival rides, food trucks and more.
