Sharing is caring!
There’s no extra charge (but regular admission fees apply) to attend the Easter Eggstravaganza at the Sedgwick County Zoo on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you’re a zoo member, you get in free with your membership card and photo ID. This is one of the many Egg Hunts around town. Check out my Ultimate: Easter Egg Hunts in Wichita article.
Kids can meet the Easter Bunny, play Easter-themed games, and participate in a different kind of egg hunt.
While there isn’t a traditional Easter egg hunt at this event, you should look for giant Easter eggs hidden around the zoo and count them! Turn in the number you counted on your way out of the zoo to receive a prize!

Something significant to note is that none of these are real eggs, so make sure the kiddos don’t walk off with something that belongs to the flamingos or ducks. 🙂
