Friday & Saturday: Dads get in free at Lake Afton Public Observatory with a paying child. The program will be about Craters and Clouds. 9 – 11 p.m.
Let Dad go nuts on Saturday at the Wichita Wingnuts Father’s Day clinic from 1-2 p.m. (for kids and dads). Dads will also receive a 1/2 price voucher for the game that night. (Check out the 2010 Recreation Flyer for a summer’s worth of Wingnut fun.)
Spend Sunday evening at the 81 Speedway O’REILLY/NCRA SPRINT CAR SERIES and Steve King Foundation fundraiser. There are no discounted tickets, but lots of special activities. The race starts at 7 p.m. Arrive early (around 6 p.m.) and buy Dad a rib dinner for $10. The proceeds benefit the Steve King Foundation.
Of course, if Dad is a fan of the arts, Shakespeare in the Park is free for the whole family on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
