The Buhler Frolic has been frolicking in Kansas for more than 125 years. Buhler, which is northeast of Hutchinson, will be the spot for fall small-town fun on October 1. This year, the fall festival has a luau theme. The Frolic includes a pancake feed, 5k fun run, parade, live entertainmnt, kids’ activities, food and vendor booths, BBQ cookoff, and more. Two new events this year are a hula-hoop contest and a cornhole tournament.
Admission to the Buhler Frolic is FREE, but of course you’ll want to bring cash for food and vendor booths.

Time: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Buhler, Kansas. Many events will take place on Main Street.
Cost: FREE admission. Individual events (like the 5K) may have a fee.
