If you love baseball but are ready for something completely different, Boom Ball is coming to Wichita! This new sports entertainment experience takes America’s favorite pastime and turns it into a fast-paced, two-hour show filled with baseball, entertainment, lights, fireworks, and plenty of surprises.
Instead of the traditional nine innings, Boom Ball features six unique innings, each with its own theme, challenge, or twist. The goal is to combine competitive baseball with the excitement of a live show, creating an experience that’s fun for longtime baseball fans and families looking for something new.
And this isn’t just about the game. Your ticket includes an entire evening of entertainment at Equity Bank Park.

Come early for Boom Fest
Don’t wait until game time to arrive! Boom Fest runs from 5:00–6:30 p.m. before opening ceremonies and is part of the Boom Ball experience.
Organizers recommend arriving 60–90 minutes before opening ceremonies so you have plenty of time to enjoy Boom Fest, grab food and drinks, and find your seats before the action begins.

- Boom Fest: 5:00–6:30 p.m.
- Opening ceremonies: 6:30–7:00 p.m.
- Boom Ball game: 7:00–9:00 p.m.
Boom Ball ticket prices
There are several seating options depending on how much you want to spend.
- Boom Berm – starting at $15: General admission lawn seating in the outfield. This is the cheapest way to attend.
- Launch Day Steal – starting at $25: Home plate box seats in Section 11 with premium views. This special price is available April 26 only, with the best seats assigned in order of purchase and limited availability.
- Box Seats – starting at $35: Seats in the main seating bowl, with the best available seats assigned in order of purchase.
- Dugout – starting at $45: Box seats in the first 10 rows near the dugouts in Sections 6–8 and 14–16.
- VIP Club – starting at $150: Seats in the first six rows of Sections 9–10 and 12–13, plus a player meet-and-greet and free meal.
Wichita on the Cheap Tip: If you’re mainly looking for an affordable night out, the $15 Boom Berm tickets are going to be your best bet. If you’d rather have a traditional seat and a great view, check out the $25 Launch Day deal while it’s available.

Parking is not operated by Boom Ball or Equity Bank Park, so you’ll want to check the ballpark’s parking information before heading downtown.
The stadium is ADA accessible, including seating and restrooms. Food, drinks, family favorites, and adult beverages will also be available for purchase throughout the stadium.
What if it rains?
Because this is an outdoor event, weather could affect the schedule. If severe weather occurs, the event may be delayed or adjusted. Boom Ball says updates will be shared through email and its social media channels.
A different kind of baseball night in Wichita
I love when Wichita gets something we’ve never experienced before, and Boom Ball definitely falls into that category. Between six fast-paced innings, Boom Fest, player appearances, a stadium light show, and fireworks, this sounds like much more than simply going to a baseball game.
And with tickets starting at just $15, there is an affordable option for families who want to check it out without spending a ton. If your kids don’t normally have the patience for nine innings of baseball, the shorter two-hour format and entertainment mixed throughout might make this one especially fun to try.
