Mark your calendars for a small-town festival that will be just the cure for spring fever. The Belle Plaine Downtown Festival (formerly known as the Tulip Festival) is ON for April 2021.
This spring weekend event attracts visitors to Belle Plaine every year to enjoy activities, live entertainment, a car & bike show, vendor fair, parade and more.
This year, the Downtown Festival also helps celebrate the 150th anniversary of Belle Plaine. For the health and safety of all visitors, events are being moved outside, and a few events had to be put off until future years. It still looks like there will be plenty of fun! You can see all the planned events for the 2021 Belle Plaine Downtown Festival at the website or Facebook page.
Activities generally begin on Friday night, followed by the official opening of the festival on Saturday morning.
Admission is a $3 festival button. The button is your ticket to the fun and required for several activities.
