Mark your calendars for a small-town festival that will be just the cure for spring fever. The 35th annual Belle Plaine Festival (formerly known as the Tulip Festival) is scheduled for
April 17-19, 2020.
This spring weekend event attracts thousands of visitors to Belle Plaine every year to enjoy activities, live entertainment, vintage car & bike show, vendor fair, and more.
Admission is a $3 festival button, which you can find during the event at tram stops and the Chamber booth downtown at the community center.
The button is your ticket to ride the tram and is required for several activities.
Activities generally begin on Friday night, followed by the official opening of the festival on Saturday morning.
During the Tulip Time Festival, the Bartlett Arboretum will be hosting the annual Art at the Arb. A Tulip Festival button does not cover admission to this event, which has a suggested donation of $10 per person (free for kids). Art at the Arb is a weekend-long celebration of springtime that features local artists, musicians, catering from local restaurants, and the arboretum’s about 30,000 tulips.
