CityArts will hold an art education open house on Friday evening, October 29, 2010, from 5:30 – 10 p.m. Art instructors will open their classrooms to visitors to answer questions about their classes and demonstrate some of what they do. Also, a preview of the Countdown to Christmas Mini-Workshops will be available with a special discount given for anyone who registers for a workshop during the open house.
This open house corresponds with CityArts’ 11th Annual Day of the Dead exhibit. Altars and tributes in traditional and contemporary styles will be on display. The “El Dia de los Muertos” show will be on display on Oct. 29-30 and Nov. 1-2 during regular gallery hours.
