The annual Gingerbread Village will be held at Exploration Place on Saturday and Sunday, November 10 and 11, 2018.
The Assistance League is partnering again this year with Exploration Place to hold one of Wichita’s favorite family-friendly holiday events.
It’s a great deal, too: You and the kids will be able to make your own gingerbread house, view houses constructed by skilled bakers, and tour the Exploration Place exhibits.
This year they’ll have students from Butler Community College School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts making a giant gingerbread house. And the display houses will all be from Mark Arts students.
You’ll also enjoy holiday tunes by a strolling quartet from Butler Community College.
Exploration Place members pay only $5 admission to Gingerbread Village. The cost for non-members is $10.50 for adults, $9 for seniors, and $7 for children ages 3-11. (Kids 2 and younger get in free.)
Admission includes a gingerbread house kit and, as I mentioned above, all Exploration Place exhibits.
Proceeds from Gingerbread Village benefit Assistance League of Wichita philanthropic programs.
The Gingerbread Village is available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. This event is a holiday tradition for many Wichita families!
