Air Capital Fly-In: Wichita

The 58th Air Capital Fly-In is planned for September at the Colonel James Jabara Airport airport in Wichita.

A day full of activities for adults and children is planned, including  free “Young Eagle Rides” for kids 8 to 17 years old, R/C aircraft, model rocket, and other displays, young builder activities and lots more. There will be fun for everyone. (See the flyer below for more details about the day’s events.)

Admission to the event is only $5 for adults; children 17 and younger get in free.

The fly-in is planned for Saturday, September 18, 2021.

Air Capital Fly-In Event Details

In the morning, breakfast will be available to purchase from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The Young Eagle Flight registration is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the actual flights will go from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (So be sure to register before 1 p.m.!) Candy drops are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Lunch will be available onsite for purchase between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

To register for the FREE Young Eagle rides, your best bet is to show up early to make sure your child gets a spot. The event is sponsored by Wichita EAA, Chapter 88.
