Botanica is one of our favorite attractions in Wichita, and we are very excited that they are participating in the 2024 Kansas Tourism Sunflower Summer program. The program is designed to give affordable access to attractions across the state. With this program, you can visit Botanica for FREE from May 25 – August 11, 2024!
This summer, Botanica is hosting the Nature Pop! Exhibit and the best part is you dont have to pay extra to see this exhibit once you get into Botanica for FREE with the Sunflower Summer App. Nature Pop! is a series of nature-inspired sculptures built entirely with over 850,000 LEGO bricks.
Who can receive FREE admission to Botanica?
- The program includes all Kansas students (including public, private, and homeschooled students) from Pre-K through 12th grade.
- Do Adults get in FREE?
- Yes! Up to two adults may accompany a group of students and access a free ticket voucher.
- Can Grandparents also participate?
- Any parent or legal guardian is eligible to create an account for their children. This includes grandparents. Once an account is created, the children are added to the account, and it becomes a family account. Non-guardian grandparents are also eligible to have a child’s ticket transferred to their Sunflower Summer account by the child’s legal guardian.
How Many times can I visit Botanica for FREE?
- The Sunflower Summer App allows you 1 free admission ticket per student for each attraction. Once you have used the Sunflower Summer app for a specific attraction, the app will “stamp” the ticket and it will no longer be valid to be re-used.
