Lucky Charms are magically delicious, and now that they’re made with whole grains (how many grains of whole grain do you think are in there?), they’re also magically guilt-free.
And they’re 50% off, along with other General Mills or Quaker cereals, at Dillons for three days only (Thursday, August 5 to Saturday, August 7). Plus, according to a post from Frugal Fritzie, via Money Saving Mom, you will get a $4 catalina (a coupon that prints at the register) when you buy 4 General Mills products. UPDATE: This didn’t happen for me. I got 2 Catalina coupons for more General Mills Cereals, though.
Now, here’s what you can do with this sale. Gather up all the coupons you can find for General Mills or Quaker cereals and use them while the cereal is on sale. Most printed coupons that come in the Sunday paper are doubled at Dillons, so those are great if you have them. You can also use printable or digital coupons which, sadly, don’t double. (Sometimes they stack, but that’s a feat for experienced couponers–you know who you are!)
By far, the best thing about this sale is that I have a coupon for Cocoa Puffs! Now you do too: UPDATE: I’m very sad to say that Cocoa Puffs aren’t included in the 50% off sale. Neither are Multi-grain Cheerios, Reeses Puffs, or Trix. The coupons below are still good, there just isn’t a sale to match them up with.

Note: I won’t do coupon match-ups every single week. As I’ve explained previously, couponing exhausts me. I’ll still post the most excellent deals here when I hear about them, but when it comes to making my weekly shopping list, I let others do the hard work for me. Many terrific blogs like Money Saving Mom offer weekly posts matching grocery store sales to current coupons, or you can pay a small fee for a service like The Grocery Game (which I have used and liked).
