World’s Largest Swimming Lesson in Wichita

This year we have even more opportunities in Wichita to participate in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson!

Help break a Guinness World Record at city pools and at Rock River Rapids this June.

It’s FREE to participate.

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson is an international event in which waterparks, pools and other aquatic facilities around the globe host local swimming lessons simultaneously.

The annual event is designed to promote the life-saving skill of swimming and prevent drowning.

World’s Largest Swimming Lesson – Choose Your Location

All Wichita City Pools are participating in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson this year. Show up at your nearest pool early (lesson begins at 11:30 a.m.) on June 20 and help set a new record!

Rock River Rapids in Derby is also participating again this year. Theirs begins at 10 a.m. on June 20, but you need to arrive by 9:30 a.m. to register.

This event is free and open to the whole family, your neighbors, and your friends.
