General admission tickets to Wichita Wingnuts games are only $6 in advance/$8 on game-day, which is a great deal, but if you have a tassel of kids even that can get expensive. Thankfully the Wingnuts give us lots of opportunities to see a baseball game on the cheap. Below are the Wingnut ticket discounts I know of.
Kwik Shop Dollar Days
Pick up discount vouchers at Kwik Shops for $1 tickets to Monday night home games! Get the dates and details for Wingnuts Dollar Days here.
Local businesses buy up a limited number of tickets and often give them away to their customers. Sometimes they are also offered to the general public for nothing more than a nice please and thank you. 🙂 Here is the schedule of buy-in nights for this season, which might just mean FREE Wingnuts tickets for you!
- May 31 Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission
- June 28 (unknown)
- July 5 American Family Insurance Buy-In Night
- July 12 American Red Cross Buy-In Night
- August 9 Equity Bank Buy-In Night
- August 16 Genesis Health Clubs Buy-In Night
- August 30 Rusty Eck Ford Customer Appreciation Night
This year, Wednesdays are Buy-In Nights (see above). It looks like they won’t be doing the Wayback Wednesday promotions.
12 oz. sodas and domestic draws are only $1
Friday Night Fireworks
Friday night home games are even more fun with fireworks in the Lawrence-Dumont stadium after the show. Regular admission prices apply for these games.
Family Fun Saturdays
Admission is regular price, but the Wingnuts will have giveaways, mascot acts and big events on Saturdays, plus post-game autographs!
I don’t know what this is yet, but it looks like fun. Big Sky Party Rentals will be bringing something on certain Sundays. If I find out what, I’ll update here!
