The Wichita Toy Run Rally will be held on November 5 in Historic Delano. Each year, motorcyclists from the region gather for a ride through Wichita, bearing either a toy or a cash donation to benefit the Salvation Army and Marine Corps Toys for Tots Christmas programs.
This year’s annual Wichita Toy Run will begin at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. Santa Claus will lead the motorcycle procession from the stadium at 1:00 pm to Hartman Arena in Park City. Line up begins at 9 a.m.
In 2016, 8,000 toys were presented along with $27,000 in donations to local charities. At Hartman Arena, participants will present their gifts to the Salvation Army and US Marines. There will be a $5 chili feed and lots of donation and door prizes.
