Wichita Thunder Hockey 25th Anniversary Ticket Specials

wichita-thunder-logoWell this is exciting. The Wichita Thunder Hockey season begins on October 15 and it’s going to be a big new season! This year is the 25th anniversary of Wichita’s Professional Hockey team, and they’re rolling it out with huge ticket specials, new community giving initiatives, and some big news.

The Wichita Thunder is now an NHL feeder team! The Wichita Thunder has signed an affiliation with the Ottawa Senators, which means our hockey team is a stronger, faster, more skilled team than ever, led by new Thunder Hockey coach Malcolm Cameron.

Community Giving

The Thunder are stepping up contributions to the community as well. More than 16 Wichita-area non-profits will benefit from a ticket sales during special promotional (benefit) nights and each non-profit will receive 50% of ALL ticket revenues generated by a co-marketing initiative, and the Thunder has also planned giving initiatives that will benefit USD 259 programs and students by returning 50% of ALL tickets sold through this program.

Ticket Discounts

You aren’t going to want to miss these discounts. If you haven’t been to a hockey game in a while or have never been to a game, this is the time to go!

Opening Night Special: BOGO tickets
The upper level is already sold out! But the Thunder are offering a Two-Game Special: $20 in the lower level goal zone (yellow section) for both October 15th and October 21st to get you in the mood for a great new season. Normally these seats are $20 each, so this is essentially a buy-one, get-one-free deal!

Three-Game Special: $15 for three games
Pick any three games except opening night and you’ll get lower level seats in the fan zone (green section) for $15. Yes, that’s three games for a total of $15, or $5 per ticket. This is a deal that could make anyone excited about hockey season!

To get these Thunder Hockey ticket discounts, you’ll need to call (316) 264-4625 and ask for the special you want. But be quick if you want to get the opening night tickets – it’s already close to selling out! More than 10,000 tickets have been sold and only 3,800 remain as of this morning on sale to the public.
