Don’t be mad at the messages – I just thought everyone needed to know that Wichita City Council unanimously voted to increase water and sewer rates. The proposed rates for 2023 are 6.25% for water and 3% for sewer for a combined rate of 4.95% increase. It sounds like a lot but here is a breakdown to help you see the impact it will have on residential, commercial and industrial properties.
The City says fees were last updated in 2019.
