The Historical Museum is pleased to offer the Wichita History Writing Workshop, presented by educator and writing instructor Michael McDaniel. The workshop focuses on using our own local history to inspire writing. Special tours through the Museum will serve to develop ideas. Fiction and non-fiction projects receive equal attention. Finished non-fiction work may be entered in the Museum’s essay contest. Fictional work will be considered and may be featured in other Museum programs. The workshop is open to students 3rd grade and older. Sponsored by Watermark Books & Café.
Tuesdays – June 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
Admission to the Workshop is free but registration is recommended by contacting the Museum at 265-9314 or [email protected]
