The Wichita Highland Games and Celtic Festival will be held June 23 and 24 rescheduled for August 10-11, 2013 at Sedgwick County Park in Wichita. Purchase your tickets online in advance to receive a nice discount on your tickets.
- Buy an Adult Weekend Pass for $12 and you will receive two free kids passes.
- Purchase one Adult Day Pass for $8 and you’ll receive one free kids pass.
Tickets purchased at the gate on the days of the event will be $10 per adult and $3 per child.
The festival celebrates Scottish, Irish, and Welsh culture with Celtic music, crafts, and food. A highlight of the festival will be Olympic level athletes competing in “heavy athletics” events like caber toss, stone put, and Scottish hammer. You can watch a battle re-enactment and even enter your pooch into the Scottish-Looking Dog contest.
