Wichita Fall Festival: Military Salute, Waltzing Waters, and Trunk-or-Treat

Wichita Fall Festival and Military SaluteThe Wichita Fall Festival will be held downtown on October 20, 2012, 5-9 p.m. at Waterwalk, 515 S. Main. Activities include a ceremony to honor active and retired military, live music by King Midas in the Waterwalk Commons on the west side of the building, food and drinks, and “Trunk-or-Treating” for the kids.

During the Fall Festival, the new Waltzing Waters fountains will be dedicated. The have been described as “liquid fireworks,” and will incorporate colored lights and music synchronized to the water’s movement. The Waltzing Waters ceremony will begin at 7:45 p.m. the night of the festival, with shows following at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The Waltzing Waters fountains are located east of Gander Mountain. From April through December, the fountain will offer three daily shows at 12:30 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m.
