Wichita on the Cheap

Live the Good Life for Less & Never Miss a Deal

Upcoming events at Wave Venue

Wichita has a downtown concert and event venue called WAVE, which normally has a tons of events, concerts, and fun and games scheduled. This is a fairly recent addition to Wichita’s entertainment and nightlife scene.

WAVE is unique in that it has both an indoor and outdoor stage and concert area.

WAVE Indoor Venue

The indoor area has a very industrial, artsy feel to it. The mixture of metal, wood and concrete add a clean urban vibe to the location. There’s modern art on the walls and it has a fully stocked bar.

The indoor concert area can hold up to 500 people and has a great stage for concerts.

Outdoor Concert and Event Venue

The outdoor stage and concert area is next to the elevated train tracks. In addition, part of the building is made with storage containers, giving the space a unique vibe. It has the capacity to hold up to 3,300 people.

WAVE has already brought a lot of musicians and concerts to Wichita. They have also hosted a variety of events including cornhole tournaments, trivia nights, and farmers markets. We’ve included a schedule of upcoming WAVE events below, and you’ll see pretty much everything is super affordable.

Promoters Adam and Jessica Hartke had a lot of ideas for this unique space in downtown Wichita. Be on the lookout for events coming up as more things begin to open in Wichita.
