Tunes & Blooms at Botanica

Tunes & Blooms at Botanica is a newer event and looks like it will be a real treat for the ears and eyes. Midian Shrine Center is excited to present the Second Annual Tunes & Blooms on the Grand Lawn at Botanica in Wichita, Kansas.  This one day family fun event includes live music from the band Paramount, a cornhole competition run Sons of Pitches, a 5K fun race, food and beverage sales, photo opportunities with the Midian Cartoons and Krazy Klowns and access to the gardens at Botanica.

This event will be lots of fun for all ages. If you haven’t seen the new Grand Lawn at Botanica it is the perfect setting for an outdoor concert. Don’t forget to park at the South Gate! Its the entrance across from Cowtown

Tunes and Blooms at Botanica

Bring your own blanket or lawn chair for seating during the event, and wear comfortable shoes so you can enjoy the 20 acres of gardens!

Tickets for the event are $20 but that includes admission into Botanica and entry into the concert.   Admission for children 10 and younger is $10. 

The fun begins at 6 p.m. on Saturday night

Here is the schedule of events:

  • 6pm – Gates open at the South Gate entrance of Botanica (across from Cowtown)
  • 6pm – Fun Run
  • 6pm – Cornhole competition
  • 6pm – Kids cooking competition
  • 6pm – Cartoons and Klowns 
  • 7-8pm – Just Larry clown from Memphis
  • 8-11pm – Live Music: Paramount

Proceeds of this event will go towards the operation of Midian Shrine Center. Your generosity will allow Midian Shrine to fulfill our philanthropic mission to provide specialized pediatric care for orthopedics, burn injury, spinal cord injury and cleft lip and palate. Midian Shrine currently cares for over 400 children in our jurisdiction. Care is provided regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Donations are not deductible as a charitable contribution.
