Treehouse Experience in Sedgwick, Kansas

Ever dreamed of staying in a treehouse? We fulfilled that dream at Diamond Springs Ranch, and it was a fantastic experience. Our overnight stay in Sedgwick, KS, was the ultimate getaway, and we didn’t spend a fortune.

Nestled in a treehouse, we enjoyed horseback trail rides, roasted marshmallows, and cherished quality family time. Sleeping among the branches, stargazing, building fires — it was a perfect little retreat just around 20 minutes from Wichita.

If you want to slow down, disconnect, and refresh your mind, this is the perfect place. Besides the Treehouse, they have lots of different experiences you can partake in.

Based on our experience, we felt staying at The Tree Lodges was a good deal. Here are some tips on how to save and why we felt this was a Deal:

Short Drive: We didn’t have to spend a fortune on gas to get there. Before we left, we used the Cheapest Gas Finder to find the cheapest gas in Wichita.

Bring your Food: Since it’s only roughly 20 minutes from Wichita, you can easily bring your own food; they have a full kitchen and refrigerate it in the Treehouse. There is also a grill on the patio. Cooking or bringing your food will help you save.

Stay One Night: Most Airbnbs require a minimum stay of 2 nights, but at the Treehouse, you can stay one night. Pro Tip: Weekdays are typically less expensive.

Less than most Hotel Rooms: Staying in the Treehouse is less expensive than most hotels, and you get to sleep in a Treehouse. How cool is that!!

Think about experiencing this short-distance getaway in Sedgwick, KS, for a night or more away from the city. TreeLoge is a true Treehouse where you can sleep in a comfortable house high off the ground. This, for sure, is not a “roughing it” treehouse. The Treehouse has a kitchen, refrigerator, hot water, heating, and air conditioning. They genuinely have brought the city’s luxury into the trees of Kansas.

  • A beautiful stream nearby lets you throw rocks or dip your toes in the water.
  • Make smores in an outdoor firepit with cafe lights hanging overhead just steps outside the Treehouse.
  • Relax on the deck that surrounds the Treehouse. We watched the sunset, and it was beautiful.
  • You could watch the fully working farm from the deck. We even had cows walking under the Treehouse, which my daughter loved.
  • You can grill out on the deck, bring your food, or go into town and eat at Cy’s Hoof & Horn.

You dont have to stay in the Treehouse to enjoy these other experiences.
