If you have a teen age 14 through 18 who is interested in starting their own business, then you’ll want to check out Camp Destination Innovation, a teen entrepreneurship summer camp held in Wichita.
Camp Destination Innovation is fiscally sponsored by e2e and is an initiative of the Entrepreneurship Task Force in Wichita. It’s geared toward opening up career possibilities outside the traditional norm with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and STEM. Students in the camp will learn about entrepreneurship, go on field trips, and receive mentoring from some of the most successful entrepreneurs in Wichita.
Last year, participants held a trade show and “shark tank” sponsored by Bank of America and the winning team presented to the Chamber of Commerce and met with Daymond John from the television show Shark Tank.
The camp is four weeks long and meets three times per week. Registration is required. Camp will be held from June 6 to June 30, 2017. The cost is only $25!
