The first FREE “Blockbuster” is here in Wichita. Thanks to Tallgrass Film Association for making this happen. They have placed an old newspaper dispenser outside of the Lux, filled with movies. A Free Blockbuster is a place where people can leave movies so others can borrow them, like those Little Free Libraries where you can take or leave a book but for VHS tapes and DVDs (and anything else you want to share with your neighbors).
So Free “Blockbusters” are popping up all over the country. Their mission is to combat the myth of scarcity by providing free entertainment to as many people as possible. Connect with the Free Blockbuster community and join the movement! Click HERE to see their website.
