The Wichita Park and Recreation Department will be joining P.J. Day and his burro Pedro as he reads his book A Burro’s Tale at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27 at the Keeper of the Plains, 650 N. Seneca.
P.J. and Pedro are embarking on a 10-state tour to spread holiday cheer, and Wichita is one of their stops. Join us as P.J. reads the story of Pedro, a young burro, coming of age during the first Christmas.
All ages are encouraged to attend this free story time and meet the real life Pedro following.
The first 50 children in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of A Burro’s Tale.
Story time will be held at the Keeper of the Plains. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the Mid-America All-Indian Center at 650 N Seneca St.
