When I think of spring in Wichita, I think of getting outdoors, and Botanica, the Wichita Gardens, is the perfect spot to visit this Spring Break! The gardens will be alive with color, excitement, and outdoor adventure. They have not released any special activities this year, but it is a great place to visit if the weather is warm.
One of the must-see attractions is the beautifully restored Joyland carousel, where you can take a nostalgic ride that’s sure to delight both kids and adults. Let the little ones roll down the famous Sleeping Troll Hill, or challenge each other to some fun and classic yard games in the garden. And, of course, the beloved Downing Children’s Garden will be open.
