Students in grades 1-5 who are out on spring break can have a week full of fun at the Sedgwick County Zoo Spring Fling Wonders of Wildlife (WOW) program.
March 19-23, the zoo will hold all day classes and activities that will engage students with animals and nature with classroom experiments, field lessons, working side by side with keeper and other Zoo staff, as well as having lots of fun with the other kids! This will be an experience that is unique to the participants of the “Spring Fling” – nobody else gets to explore every nook and cranny of the zoo like this!
Since the program is all day, from 8-5, kids should bring a sack lunch. Before and after care is also available; you can get more information and register online at the zoo website here. (Click that link and look for the registration button.)
