If you’re looking for fun things for the kids to do during Wichita’s Spring Break, swing by WAM for Spring Break Artcation!
Many events have been cancelled or postponed.
Sedgwick County officials made an announcement today that public gatherings larger than 250 attendees are prohibited in Sedgwick County until further notice.
The City of Wichita likewise made an announcement that all City sponsored events (and non-City events at Century II) with more than 250 expected attendees are postponed or cancelled until further notice.
At this point, it’s probably going to be impossible for us to note all the cancellations. Please double-check with the source to make sure an event is still happening or a deal is still good before you go.
For four days during Spring Break Week, March 17-20, 2020, the Wichita Art Museum welcomes all youth for just $1 admission, including high school and college students with ID. Kids under 5 always get in free.
Spring Break Artcation
Each day of Spring Break Artcation at the museum highlights different activities.
Try your hand at special artmaking projects. See family-friendly flicks selected especially for spring break. Explore the galleries with special museum tours.
Because of renovations happening at WAM, the activities will be taking place in some fun new spots within the museum.
Visit one day, or go to all of them. WAM’s art never goes on break, so you have something fun to do on your break!
On the Saturday the week before spring break this year, the Wichita Art Museum will host MORP – that’s prom spelled backwards. This prom-alternative for high school students is free, but registration is required so sign up soon.
Then on Saturday, March 28, the Museum will host its free Family Artventure.
And thanks to a donation from a generous sponsor, the Wichita Art Museum is always free on Saturdays!

Time: 1-4 pm

Cost: $1 for youth with a paid general or senior admission. Regular admission for adults and seniors.
