The two-day convention will be held in the Meadowlark Building of the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson on July 23 and 24, 2018. This will be the 5th annual Smallville Comic Con, and they have an impressive lineup of guests, including Dean Cain, who played our own “local” superhero* in the TV series Smallville.

Other celebrity guests include Steven Williams, Eddie McClintock, Crystal Lowe, Carmen Agenziano, Conan Stevens, and Master Daniel Pesina. Comic book authors and artists Bob Hall, Mike Zeck, Susanne Lambdin, and others will also be there, plus more than 100 vendors.

The discounted Advance Passes are available now to purchase online. You’ll save as much as $5 on the regular price of a two-day pass. The discount is also good on the senior, youth, and military passes, which are already discounted.

*Hutchinson = Smallville If you remember the story, Superman’s parents sent him to Earth to escape Krypton’s destruction and his spaceship crash-landed in a Kansas farm field. Local comic book fans realized that the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, where Superman’s adoptive family lived, has a lot of similarities to Hutchinson. Could it be the actual Smallville?
