I have a few friends who will race to be first in line for this deal. You may have heard that Wichita will be getting its first Costco store early this summer. The address of the new Wichita Costco location is 9700 E. Kellogg Avenue, Wichita KS 67207.
What you may not know is that if you sign up now for a Costco membership, you can get a $10 or $20 Costco gift card.
To get the early signup deal, just visit the Wichita Costco at Kellogg and Webb. you can go to one of two places. Costco’s temporary office is at 8911 E. Orme and, when weather permits, there will also be a tent outside the actual Costco warehouse store. These are open from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. daily.
The Costco membership special is only available when you sign up in person; it isn’t available online.
Costco has a couple of different membership levels:
- Sign up for the Gold Star membership ($55) and you will receive at $10 cash card to use in the warehouse.
- If you sign up for the Executive membership ($110), you will receive a $20 cash card, as well as $30 worth of coupons for free products and other great savings.
If you want to get an American Express card, then they will offer a $55 credit statement after you make $250 in purchases on the card within 90 days. (This card will only be valid until March 31, 2016 and then they’ll be transitioning to a new credit card.)
The Gold Star and Business memberships are $55 per year; the Executive membership is $110 per year and includes a 2% reward (up to $750 per year) on most purchases.
