Bike Walk Wichita is gearing up for a bicycle clinic…
You know those spiky things around your pedals and rear wheel must have been put there for a reason, but all you’ve been able to do is to make grinding noises with them. Besides, the one gear you’re in is just fine for everything … except for wind and hills. OK, its time to become a Gearing Guru, and improve your riding efficiency by mastering the gear and technique of shifting, because we all know that SHIFT HAPPENS, and you might as well be in control of it as much as you can. In this one hour mini-clinic you will learn about derailleurs, shifters, and shifting techniques. We’ll have a bike on a trainer for hands on (feet and seat on?) experience. $5 at the door or online. Max capacity of 20 people.
