Last Chance to Stomp with the Dinosaurs

Through September 17, 2023, visitors have one last chance to experience the one-of-a-kind, “Dinosaurs Around the World: The Great Outdoors,” exhibit at Botanica. The exhibit is included with general admission and features 10 animatronic dinosaurs nestled throughout the gardens. Several of the dinosaurs are over 27 feet long! Visitors are encouraged to learn and make memories with these enormous kings of the past. Dinosaurs include the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex of North America, the bizarre, bony-crested Oviraptor from Mongolia, and many more! The exhibit is accompanied by dino-riffic daily activities, art projects, dino tours, giant dinosaur puzzles and special events.

Monarch Butterfly Sessions & Tours

Botanica is kicking off the season with Monarch Days on September 18th-21st. They are offering daily morning sessions to educate students on monarch butterfly anatomy, habitat and migration through a variety of interactive stations. Admission for students is only $5 per student and teachers and staff are free of charge.

Botanica is also offering Monarch Migration tours on September 23rd, 26th, and 28th. Guests will discover the top resting sites for monarchs in the botanical gardens, learn fun facts about monarchs, and see how monarchs are tagged and released. These tours are thirty minutes long and free with admission. Plus, every tour ends in the Meadow with a Monarch tagging!
