The Sedgwick County Fair Board announced that after much discussion they have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Sedgwick County Fair. Although this is disappointing to hear, the board says that they are planning a “spectacular return” in 2021. If you have made an advance purchase the fair board has stated that you will be contacted about a refund. We look forward to the spectacular return, stay safe and healthy!
The Sedgwick County Fair is an annual event that is always lots of fun. The fair is held at the Sedgwick County Fairgrounds in Cheney, Kansas.
Admission is free and parking is free too!
The Sedgwick County Fair is a nice example of an old-fashioned county fair. Its “just-right” size means that you can enjoy the animals, the quilts, live music, and other exhibits with the kids.
I highly recommend it for a fun family outing.
You’ll only need tickets for events like the Ranch Rodeo, the Demolition Derby, and of course the carnival, which runs throughout the fair.
Usually, you can get a 20% discount on “Ride All The Rides” armbands if purchased before the Fair, which makes them only $20. The regular price for an all-day carnival ride bracelet is $25 each.
The Sedgwick County Fairgrounds are located at 308 S Main St in Cheney, KS 67025.
