Sharing is caring!
You’ll want to know about this. SavingStar coupons are a bit different from ordinary digital coupons.
You might be familiar with the concept because of sites like Ebates and Upromise. Instead of taking your discount off at the register, the value of the coupons you use accumulate in your SavingStar account until you reach $5 in savings.
Here’s how it works:
- Register for a free SavingStar account and link it to your store loyalty card. (In Wichita, that would be your Dillons or Homeland card.)
- Select the eCoupons you like on the website or mobile app, and they are automatically linked to your store card.
- Use your card when you checkout and the money is added to your SavingStar account. The savings don’t change your bill at the register and the savings are not printed on the receipt. Instead, they get deposited into your SavingStar account within 7-30 days.
Once your SavingStar account reaches $5 in savings, you can choose to receive your payout in the form of a bank account deposit, PayPal account deposit, Amazon gift card, or a donation to charity.

And that’s it! You can still use your coupons and shop as you normally would, while your SavingStar credit adds up in your account.
