This Thursday, May 24, 2012, attend the Ride for the Red Kickstart Party and you’ll save $5 on regular or VIP registration for the 2012 Ride for the Red Poker Run. The Kickstart Party is from 6-8 p.m. at Alef’s Harley Davidson.
The Poker Run in Wichita on June 16 is a benefit for the Red Cross. (My friends at the Wichita on the Cheap Facebook page clued me in on what a poker run is. Participants pick up a playing card at each stop along the route, which apparently becomes their hand in the poker game at the end of the ride.)
