Make your purchase in advance and you’ll save $3 on tickets to shows in the Empire House Live Concert Series this fall.
The Empire House Theater is a small concert venue seating approximately 150 people located inside Cowtown. (This is also where the Diamond W Wranglers perform regularly.) The “Empire House Live!” lineup includes local, regional and national performers, including concerts in October and November this year.
October 19: Sally Barris in Concert, 8 p.m.
Sally Barris is an A-list Nashville songwriter. Her song “Let The Wind Chase You,” recorded by Trisha Yearwood and Keith Urban, received a Grammy nomination in 2009. While her writing credits are impressive, fans and peers are most captivated by her bright spirit and expressive mountain soprano.
November 10: Truckstop Honeymoon, 8 p.m.
Since hurricane Katrina washed them out of New Orleans, Truckstop Honeymoon has performed in Australia, Holland, Germany, Britain and throughout the United States. The band plays tough, funny, hi-octane songs about interstate highways, pinball arcades and true love.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. They may be purchased online at WichitaTIX.com or by calling 316-219-4849. All concerts take place in Empire House Theater unless otherwise noted. More shows will be added throughout the year and updated at OldCowtown.org.
Cowtown is located at 1865 W. Museum Blvd. in Wichita.
